What are your plans for Thanksgiving? (sorry to non-Americans)

We'll be travelling down to the Capital district (Albany, Troy, Schenectady) to see my pareents and family. We'll eat, watch football and get ready to shop for our up coming trip to WDW!

We get together with family on my parents property here in Tx. We stay for the weekend play games, stay up late, talk, just plain having fun, and of course filling our faces.

Same as ever, basically. Go to the grandparents', get together with my mom's half of the family, eat, and fight over what to watch on TV. (Although with my cousin headed to Iraq, I might lose that fight this year, without him to back me up on football. Ah well, both games look like duds this year, anyway.)

My mother-in-law is flying in the day before and we will all travel to go to eat with my side of the family. On Saturday, we have a Thanksgiving party set up with our neighbors. We have these little get togethers anytime there is an excuse to do so

I hear you, We are staying away from the family. I'm having a quite dinner with just the wife and we will watch football. Maybe even put up the X-mas Tree. It's going to get very busy for her after Thanksgiving, so we are going to enjoy this time.

Spending it at my parents with my relatives. We'll be stuffing our faces, listening to music and dancing...the t.v. never makes it on when we're all together. :lol: It's like a party, so I'm looking forward to it. :sohappy:

we are heading to the Quad Cities from Champaign for the 4 day weekend, hitting two different thanksgiving, and watching teh chi bears game.

I think I amgoing to be the size of a bear by the time we are done with the day....

then the day after is shopping with my mother and grand mother in law in Springfield IL.

Traveling to my sister's to spend the day with my side of the family (we alternate every year). I'll be baking pies for dessert. :slurp: :wave:

I'll be in Rock Island and Moline (dad's side of the family) probably sometime this week/weekend and probably Peoria on Thursday or Friday.

If we don't do either, I'll be with the family at home. I'm also having Thanksgiving with my girlfriends family at home too.
