Overall, I still miss World of Motion... lol. But I actually do like the new version of Test Track (2.0) better than the original version. I really like the upbeat, futuristic-sounding music as well as the "tron-like" theming. The ride needed an update anyway. Rides like World of Motion are timeless and endings of those types of rides can be updated to keep them current. However, Test Track 1.0 was beginning to look dated, and the narration and opening movie were looking dated in my opinion.
I also really like the new exit area / old transcenter area better than Test Track 1.0. I like the modern look of it as well as the design aspect being interactive all the way from beginning to end.
I have been going to WDW since 1984, but even I am okay with change as long as the change actually improves things. I still like immersive rides like World of Motion, Journey Into Imagination, and Horizons, but overall, I just like to see change done in a well-thought out and non-cheap way. To me, the new Test Track was done well and with a sufficient budget. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but it is better than the original version in my opinion.
