u r always so negative this is an effect on a ride dude it'll be fixed at some point
If you saw one of the greatest endings to any Disney attraction torn out to draw your attention away from it with a stupid flash animation on the in-vehicle screen to distract you and it remained in that state for nearly 20 years you can understand why I would be negative about it.

I get being upset about the changes to SSE. But the two are not comparable.

At this stage, why not just uncover the 1994 SE finale pieces (I realize not as simple as it sounds but it wouldn't be that complicated either)? Two potential benefits: people can enjoy them like they do the current CoP finale (amusing nostalgia on how things were seen around 1993/1994), plus its datedness could further spur demand for the overdue update to SSE finale like they just announced for CoP. I don't think I'm too wacky here...after all...their limited return of Captain EO was both a popularly-received appeal to nostalgia and a chance to laugh at the elements that had become dated by 2009/10 (most of it).

Counterpoint: They should never have brought EO back.

As I mentioned, it was about BOTH nostalgia AND realizing how times have changed. Watching its limited re-release at Imagination Pavilion c. 2010, I had moments of reliving my childhood 1980s nostalgia plus many cringeworthy moments during the film of, "how was ANYONE comfortable with THIS in the 1980s!?" I realize that what the final version of the Animation Pavilion reboot will be is TBD, but it seems they are relying, at least in a small part, on nostalgia, as indicated by the presence of 1989 Robbin Williams Lost Boy in art.

yeti was turned off because of the infrastructure in the mountain. these are doors. not comparable in the slightest
This is off topic, but...

Yeti was turned off because its internal 'bones and joints' couldn't withstand the momentum of its actions. The infrastructure of EE wasn't an issue at all.

All that's left is the peppers ghost video communication scenes. The model city and everything after it were already removed in 2007.
