I don't think the entire ride is going to have it playing like it did in WoM but I could see it on ride, even if just an instrumental. There were already plenty of nods to it in TT 2.0, including it playing as a jingle at the MagicBand touchpoints. I'm fairly confident it'll be back in some form based on nothing but a gut feeling.
Yeah i could def see it being intrsumental, though i hope we get the lyrics. I assume that what most people want when they say “It’s fun to be free in test track 3.0”

He was backstage somewhere in California Adventure for a while, but I don't know where he is now.
Maybe it will be a cameo like playing Universe of energy briefly before the big bang on Guardians.
I personally believe it's likely to come back. I don't see them passing up the opportunity for 'member berries here.

Certain parts of projects always "appear" to move more quickly than others, and a contingent of onlookers show up without fail to comment on how slow or fast the work is proceeding without any context or understanding of the process.

It just means they’re read to get started with their scope of work. It tells you nothing about the extent of their scope or the status of the overall project. You don’t need to (and in a big project probably should not) do all of the demolition in the facility before starting any new work.
