I would think if it was primarily screen based then it would’ve been much quicker to get open than it has beenWho else thinks this is a projection based heavy attraction?

A very loaded assumption. Good screens take time to install and media still requires ride-show synchronization. Timelines are based more on scope than just being physical or media.I would think if it was primarily screen based then it would’ve been much quicker to get open than it has been
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-ewsNo news is not good news. It's not bad news. It's just no news.
No news was promised, and no news we got. Thus, the lack of news is not a fault of anyone or has any significant meaning other than we got no news so far.
When will we get news? There has been no news letting us know when we will be getting news. So, everything is as planned.

Even 1.0 didn't really have any physical sets outside of the heat lamps and robot arms. The queue had a bunch but not the ride. Not like it had many physical sets anyways. The speed tunnels would be a nice throwback from WOM.
Well, apart from the rough road blocks, the block displays, the dressing around the brakes tests (cones, barriers, walls, trailer with tyres), heat test room, cold test room, the robot room, the fake forest in the handling test, the close-encounter truck, the elaborate barrier test room with crashed cars and dummies...Even 1.0 didn't really have any physical sets outside of the heat lamps and robot arms. I think it's great how most of the discussion of Test Track on this site is "TT 2.0 was just empty rooms and had no sets!" but as soon as someone says the same thing about 1.0 it becomes "Well what about the bumps on the floor and the road cones?Well, apart from the rough road blocks, the block displays, the dressing around the brakes tests (cones, barriers, walls, trailer with tyres), heat test room, cold test room, the robot room, the fake forest in the handling test, the close-encounter truck, the elaborate barrier test room with crashed cars and dummies...
And the rest. One of the comparison videos, I think it's obvious what are real, physical sets and what aren't, and trhat includes all the props and dressing, and the most astounding omission from the post I was replying to is the barrier test room, which is a really big physical set. What have the Romans ever done for us?I think it's great how most of the discussion of Test Track on this site is "TT 2.0 was just empty rooms and had no sets!" but as soon as someone says the same thing about 1.0 it becomes "Well what about the bumps on the floor and the road cones?"
You spelled Horizons wrong.See, the answer to this statement is: WDI woke up, realized WOM was the best classic EPCOT ride, and is now giving it's due.
I love all my Test Traks equally!!I think it's great how most of the discussion of Test Track on this site is "TT 2.0 was just empty rooms and had no sets!" but as soon as someone says the same thing about 1.0 it becomes "Well what about the bumps on the floor and the road cones?"
I think this is the one thing from v2.0 that will be genuinely missed. Can’t remember if this has already been brought up, but are we under the impression that there will be new music replacing the Paul Leonard-Morgan/2.0 soundtrack?
Yeah look at all these setsWell, apart from the rough road blocks, the block displays, the dressing around the brakes tests (cones, barriers, walls, trailer with tyres), heat test room, cold test room, the robot room, the fake forest in the handling test, the close-encounter truck, the elaborate barrier test room with crashed cars and dummies...
This scene is replacing the 18-wheeler near-miss. You come around and see this "accident" and swerve to avoid it.All versions of Test Track have awful "sets", if you can even call them that. I don't expect the third iteration to change my mind. They're not beating the likes of this, even if they tried-

I'm gonna go with a super controversial opinion and maybe its because i wasn't on it but seeing the side by side I prefer almost all of TT 2.0 over 1.0 except for the barrier test vs speed test scene.I forgot how many crashed cars they had right before the barrier test!
About that. Apparently, they've gone back to Chevrolet. Look at the Coming Soon sign.I thought it was announced it was going back to GM branding officially
