EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

Not sure what you were expecting. I think most expected the new vehicles with new wraps on the same track with new theming around it. They're cars. On a test track. In a new environment.
I expected brand new cars, not some shiny new graphics and different seats. The actual bodies of the cars and the guts will stay the same.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I think you expected a lot. That's like saying you expected new logs for TBA. The point was always new theming around the track and a different look to the cars.
GM is paying for it, not WDW. That is why I expected better.

It has been 19 months since this project was announced. We have seen/heard absolutely nothing from the ride except a boring vehicle wrap and the same piece of concept art of the forest scene. This thing allegedly opens in four months. They have gotta show SOMETHING of substance soon, I don’t think this thread can take many more “I’m excited for Test Track!” posts that pop up every few weeks when there’s nothing else to talk about

Don't cry little Test Track fan.... Disney's Instagram has enough blurry tree WIPs to last you until opening...

Because it’s a joke.

Look at how creative we are, we slapped a wrap and some stickers on the decades old ride vehicle!
But why would they need to make new ride vehicles when there’s nothing wrong with the old ones? Seems like a waste of everyone’s time to build entirely new ride vehicles when there was no issues with the existing ones. I’d much rather them focus on the attraction experience than waste money on updating an element that didn’t need updating.

This just seems like complaining for the sake of complaining.
