EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

It’s a sad commentary on the management regime that’s been in place for the better part of 20 years. And an even sadder commentary on park fans.
EPCOT itself is very clearly a reflection of the world it was built in. The EPCOT of the first 20 years was perfect for its time. We aspired to a better world, We knew the importance of science and technology and we had hope for the future.. The EPCOT of the second 20 years also reflected it's time perfectly, The glorification of stupidity, crass commercialization and market worship and a future that does not look quite so promising. EPCOT really is a mirror of the society it is in.

People were falling all over themselves to criticize Disney for not having the logo prominently place.

Some of them were even sincere in their criticism!!
The logo is not the issue. it's the message behind it. ostensibly, yes Disney is leaning into the original idea of the circular logos for the pavilions again. But very few of the attractions there aspire to the greatness that the original EPCOT aspired to. They know the 1980s EPCOT was popular now. They just can't seem to figure out why.

People wanted the logo. People didn't want the logo.

The logo is the issue.

The whys don't change what I pointed out. Why didn't you say what you said to those looking for the logo? I'm sure they'd be happy to hear why they're wrong to have wanted it.
