Kevin Yee says in no uncertain terms that it is the best add at WDW since ToT. Not only that but he seems to prefer it to CarsLand because of the way it fits Future World.

And that is the most profound thing about it. WDI has people that obviously "get" Future World. The success of this project should mean a return to the quality of the original aesthetics of Future World. Epcot Explorer must be a happy camper right now.
Nice to see you back Jt. :)

Rode the original Test Track twice ever, hated it both times for how naked, uninspirational, and frankly how non-Epcot it seemed compared to World of Motion. Have ridden the new version seven times, love it, and have no intention of stopping. :)

"Detail" and "thrills" aren't necessarily positives when the details and thrills don't support the theme of the land (Chester & Hester)

after riding both the new and old version i think it is no contest. TT2 is by far better, i was always a fan on the original but i think TT2 brings a whole new element to Future world, that TT never brought. THis actually feels like it should be here. the ride is great IMHO and one of the coolest on property!

Kevin, while a mighty nice fella, shouldn't be arbiter of whether something is great or not and he'd be the first to tell you. I've stayed away from his review because I want to ride it myself before commenting and don't wish to have it spoiled.

I still doubt that WDI has many folks who get FW. Well, folks like Baxter do, but no one will let him near an Imagination redo that at this rate might happen in a decade.

And you bringing up my 'little' pal EE? That's about as weird as my old pals on the LP bringing me up of late. Now, there I know it's because their boards are absolutely dead. But here ... even though EE was the most prolific poster in MAGICal history, we're doing OK without him.

But I sorta think it would be nice to have him back, just so I could make fun of him. Besides, he has a new addiction -- Twitter. I think MAGIC is preferable.

Gimme a second... I'll ask him.

Edit: From the esteemed Epcot Explorer...

Oh, he'll be having fun on Twitter tomorrow. We should steal his iPhone ... and iPad ...and MacBook ... and Steve Jobs remains in a comemorative glass apple.

Can you post his twitter handle or what ever the kids call it.

10-4?

Oh, he'll love hearing from you ... this oughta be good ... like what folks expect from today's Disney presser.

I'll order pizza, @Lee can pick up whine (no, not from the bloggers who were left out ... culled from the herd like walkers with Sheriff Carl around) but wine ... or Coke Zero for you and we can just sit back and watch and it will be like 2009 all over again (and really, don't we all want to relive that year?)

Yes, those were glorious times. I remember the opening of the American Idol Experience like it was yesterday!
