That would be disappointing if they were cancelled, I’d bet they were maybe offered earlier times, making that standby line even more unbearable. Hopefully this was planned well in advance and FP could have been taken care of earlier.

It probably turned into a "Multiple experience" FP in their app if they had passes scheduled during the downtime, to use anywhere throughout the day.

If you're not at Epcot today, this just shouldn't bother you. If you ARE at Epcot, and had a FP+ canx'ed or changed, raise cane with Guest Services.
