Test Track break room, and EPCOT's flamingos

Odd questions came up on my last trip.

First, on Test Track, I noticed a window high up, nearly to the ceiling, far away -- I think it was only noticeable when you're going a bit faster, before the semi truck scare. It looked sort of like a break room inside, with a snack machine and posters and a table. But it doesn't make sense for Disney to have such a room in the building, at least from what I understand of their rules. So what is it? VIP lounge?

Second, what happened to the cute flamingos by Mexico? I think they were still there in 2004, but I didn't visit again until 2009. When did they leave, and why?

Thanks for any info. :)

That is a VIP lounge that is exclusive to GM. I don't know if it used anymore but back when that space was World Of Motion.....

It is indeed a GM VIP Lounge. You also see this from the exterior. It's the tinted windows.

^ See WDWMagic :o Maybe they can move the AP Lounge there? :animwink:

As for the flamingos, I am not sure. Maybe they were relocated?

I remember reading in another forum that the Flamingo's were relocated to Animal Kingdom. I believe that Martin posted that.

Does anyone know if those rear lounge windows were there when it was WOM and if so what was the view from them?
Nope. The lounge was, but only with the park view. The rear of the floor was a large corporate boardroom and other office space.
