Just started to plan my trip. I'm taking my grandkids (4&7) to MK in May 2010. I know, I know..too much anticipation. In past visits I have left the park thinking..THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY. So with that in mind I am searching everywhere to get tips and hints to make our visit a Magical Moment :king: rather than a Miserable Memory .

This trip is for them to enjoy and for me to enjoy them. With that in mind I will plan what they are interested in the most. I guess I would say I am planning a DUMBO day. With our present financial situation we are planning a trip on a shoestring budget with some splurges. We will visit only the Magic Kingdom for one or two days. I think that will be enough moments for all of us:ROFLOL:.

First 3 tips I have found:
Get there early
Go directly to Dumbo
Do not stop for anything

Welcome from a fellow Tennesseean.

Just remember you're there for them. Take your time and let them lead you instead of the other way around. And some of the hotel pools can be as much fun as the parks for little ones. You also might want to plan a character meal at Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's.

I took my 2 year old grandson to Disneyland in January. He was most fascinated by the carousel (horsies) and the train. Then of course there was Mickey, Pluto, Tigger and Goofy.
