Because I've been thinking of it all day now.

We were at my cousin's house for my cousin's son's (a generation younger) birthday, and they had a cute little puppy. It was so small I could hold it in on hand. The poor little thing was terrified of all the little kids who wanted to see her.

Strangely though, I couldn't bring myself to leave her alone in the garage.
Compassion is a new thing for me...

Puppies are a big responsibility! You'd have to be sure you're willing and able to do your share of the work.
I don't think you've ever said, Connor - Are you an only child?
If yes, a puppy would be a nice companion.

Puppies are a big responsibility!

It wouldn't have to be a puppy... I'm sure there are a few animal shelters that have a few dogs that could use a good home.

You'd have to be sure you're willing and able to do your share of the work.

Well... I like to think that could handle it... but my parent's always remind me that we go on vacation for three weeks every summer, and pets aren't allowed at the house we rent.

I was for ten years... so the habits are still with me...
I'm an only child that just so happens to have a sibling.

If yes, a puppy would be a nice companion.

What? I didn't do it purposely. It just happened. The same thing happened with my other Aunt's dog; he accidently scratched me, and died a few months later as well. Now that I think of it... it's creepy that I have that effect on animals...
