Colour changing cars:

When the guests load into the car, the cars are black, grey, and white. They continue like this until the finale scene.

The trick behind this is that it is actually Thermochromic paint (heat-sensitive paint). This top layer appears to be a boring monochrome but when hot water is sprayed on it in the dark of setting up the finale, the heat of the water is enough to bring out the hidden colour underneath the initial paint but it cools off enough that it is back to black and white by the time the cars get back to the loading platform.

Amazing idea! Definitely helps it stand out as being realistic! So how would the water be sprayed onto the vehicles?

Perfect! I’ll have it posted in about half an hour when I can get on my computer.

Everyone did a fantastic job and I am so proud of what we were able to make with this last team project! Every one of you showcased why you belong in the finals! Good luck, and it’s been a complete joy working with you all!

It's crazy knowing this is the last team project of the game... things went by fast! Every one of us contributed something absolutely pivotal this round, from the queue to the tech to awesome music and concept art... I'm excited to see the judges' reviews. Less excited for the results
