This is cruelty at its finest hahaha
wait...what animated Cats movie from 2020?
I like that idea for spreading around the responsibilities a little bit betterSo while I still have to watch the movie, @JokersWild what are your thoughts for the "mockumentary"? My first thought was another video, but those are hard to make... it usually ends up being one editor cramming at the final project while the rest have to cram early to give the editor time. So instead, what if we made it a film script of a mockumentary?
I feel like we make the park first and then focus on the mockumentary though rather than trying to do them both simultaneously
If Joe Normal and Karen Intitolato aren't characters in this script, no one wins.Example:
INT. UNIVERSAL CREATIVE BOARD ROOM -- NIGHT
Many figures are crowding a table, arguing relentlessly. JOE NORMAL is away from the crowd, speaking directly to the camera.
JOE NORMAL(Pause, followed by inaudible background noise)
So we were just given the task of creating a theme park for Universal's Cats... not what I would have chosen but we'll make it work. We always make it work. Have you visited the Wizzarding World of Harry Potter?
Oh, you have? Yeah it's really cool, isn't it? Really immersive. Well, we made it. So yeah I mean if we can do Harry Potter we can definitely work with Cats. Yeah...
Yeah... I don’t know how long it will take us to make the park, but I feel like a couple days on the script would probably be enoughTrue, we don't want the presentation to overshadow the project.

Also @TheOriginalTiki , I don't mean to take the presentation as a crutch for each round (with the exception of Kirby, I actually did just want to relax and more on a presentation for that one) but for the others, it's always been because I have an idea for how it will look and just want to pursue it.
I'll try to be less active in that department and be a bit more technical this time.
TBH, I hope y'all try and get as many callbacks to the season as you can in this Mockumentary presentation if you go through with it.Don't worry, they're gonna be the Jim and Pam of the story... just as @Pi on my Cake dreamed!

Maybe we can do it like half and half? Like film some segments and script the others? I really think it’s important for us to prioritize the project over the presentation and give the project itself as much time as necessary... that being said, I don’t have the same resources you do for that, so my contributions on the video end may not be as significant as yours haha, but I’m more than happy to give the majority of my effort on the project portionI have every intention of actually making this. I have the camera, the editing software, and no life so I have no issues with trying to make this work. My plan was the start scripting once I get out of work (and watch the podcast) and hopefully be able to start shooting this weekend.
As it stands, we have two weeks to churn this out, so I don’t think it’s too infeasible to make this work.
I can work on presentation to that end, but I can do whatever else when it comes to the actual park (shudder.)
