OK guys and gals we need to speed up a little so I opened our Fantasyland construction thread to begin with the next phase of the project.

If someone would please post the roster of the mandatory elements here? Or I will try to look it up in an hour or two.

I just looked it up but what exactly is the mandatory roster there and what is based on our decisions? How many attractions are allowed, how many restaurants and shops are required and which attractions have to be included under all circumstances and which not?
I am ready to begin but I need some more of these informations.

As FL is the only part of the MK where we find some classic fair rides (of course normally with a disney twist) like caroussels, Dumbo or the Mad tea Party (which in fact is based on a classic fair ride called Walzerbahn) I think we could include another fair-based ride in our Fantasyland, of course of much higher standard, larger and with perfect theming, the music express, look it up here:

And btw what about bringing back an improved classic into our Fantasyland? 20.000 leagues with state-of-the-art technology and a different ride vehicle could be major attraction.

Yes
If you check your Frontierland thread, I asked this team to refrain from starting on Fantasyland until Frontierland is finished.

@JohnLocke: I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, but you guys can use ideas from teams that have disbanded, so long as at least one of you was on the team.

Well it's rather sad because I thought that our Frontierland is complete now and considering how far we are lagging behind I would have enjoyed to start the next land right on because at the moment I have time enough.

Read what I wrote in the other thread. Organizing your park would be an excellent use of your time.

I think so...

Thanks for submitting Frontierland, Spike-in-Berlin. Tropical Storm Bonnie has come and gone. Lots of rain, some wind, power flickered once, that's about it. Pretty mild tropical storm. I still had to go to work too. Now we wait to see what happens in the gulf.

I remember the following from the original requirements for Fantasy and Main Street:

Main Street had to include one Emporium-like shop that spanned at least 3 "store fronts" along main street, in addition to the other small shops and whatever. Carossel of Progress is the re-imagined attraction for this area, and must be an new original idea.

Fantasy included a re-imagined small world for part one.

That's all I remember, I'm sure we can dig up the rest from the original thread. Anyone have any good stuff left over from previous groups/threads that we can include?

No problem Illuminations, I hope you liked the name of the island?
Concerning FL and MS USA do we have to do them simultaneously?

Gold Digger's Island? I laughed. In real life, of course, many people would fight the name, but I like it.

Also, yeah, I think we are. Technically this is just a chance to finalize things and work on whatever part 2 is for fantasyland, since the other teams have already done their lands. We, of course, get to do both, from scratch, all at once, in a week.

Thank you.

What is the roster we have to complete for FL?

I already have some ideas for rides.

Gonna re-pitch a Jabberwock darkride as an anchor to a Wonderland subarea then.

Also, a Wizards of Mickey attraction of some sort would be nice, maybe a re-imagined version of the Dragon's Tower concept with you infiltrating the PHantom Blot's lair and having to deal with his cronies Pete and the Beagle Boys and his dragon Rokna.

How about a Fantasia ride? With the famous "Sorcerers Apprentice" as the centerpart, which would be the first true Mickey Mouse ride in a Disney Park (I don't count brief appearances or even hidden Mickeys in other attractions or Mickeys House as real Mickey Mouse rides). Other scenes could be taken from "Night on bald Mountain" and "Rites of Spring".

And by the way how many are we, who remains of our team?

So the wonderland area would be based on the new Disney real life movie, not the classic cartoon?

I'd say a Fantasyland set Fantasia dark-ride would be a good place to use Pastoral, Dance of the Hours, Nutcracker, Firebird and Pines of Rome, maybe using Yensid's home as the queue.

With that many scenes added to the other three (i consider at least bald mountain and the sorcerers apprentice a must) it would be a really HUGE ride. Perhaps a little too large because I thought it would be better to have several scenes for one episode.
