I was thinking we can make 4 “sample” cards for each, what do you think?
@Outbound @Mickeynerd17 what I was thinking we could for the card description stuff is on one slide have a paragraph that explains the gimmick of the card (and that it’s optional for the player to take it) with the front and back of the card showcased at the bottom. Followed by sample trivia questions/chance challenges, in the next slide.

And for the player piece we can do only slide describing them and an example. I believe @Mickeynerd17 suggested making them like the ride vehicles and I’m all for it.
Sounds good to me! I'll get working on it!

Sorry I’ve been so absent… I’ve been with my grandparents all day yesterday and today… I’m hoping I’ll have a few hours at home tonight to work on my part of the project, but I’m not really sure if I will. Just wanted to let everyone know where I’m at lol
All good Goofy, this is a fast round so outside obligations getting in the way is perfectly understandable. Real life always comes first!

@Outbound I came up with these ones, please let me know what you think. If you think one doesnt work, let me know, and I’ll rework it.

  1. Roll the dice. If you get an odd number, advance 3 steps forward. Otherwise, remain where you are for 2 rounds.
  2. Roll the dice twice. If the sum of the numbers is bigger or equal to 7, move 5 steps back. Otherwise, don’t move.
  3. Close your eyes and roll the dice. If you guess the number correctly, move 8 steps back. Otherwise, move 4 steps forward.
  4. Doom! Roll the dice. If you get a number between 3 and 6, move 2 steps back. Otherwise, move to 10 places behind the finish line.

Sorry it’s so dim but this is like, an idea I had for what we could be looking at as far as just the route itself. A main route, a couple of “short cuts” (penalties) and a couple of “go back” routes (rewards), which could exist simultaneously alongside the standard “move this many spaces forward/backward” cards and whatnot. Tried to make it feel zany without being too much. If this is cool, I’ll try and actually turn it into something that looks like a game board.

Will it be possible for players to make multiple laps around the board? Or is it just “stay as far away from the finish line as possible”
I know I am not on the board design team, but I think having it be the second option would be better. With all the rules we have so far, I think it would be best to keep it one lap per game.

That’s what I was thinking too but just wanted to check. I do think it could be fun if the road connected to itself to enable players to avoid the finish line so long as they can avoid taking the correct/incorrect path. But we don’t wanna over complicate things either!
