As soon as they have a huge press release at D23 where they can have a pavilion dedicated to the script change that may or may not be coming to the GMR...Bob Iger will make a big splashy announcement that there is talk of changing some of the script...Then someone will announce that script changes could be coming as early as Summer 2017...without actually confirming there will be a change...Then about 2018, without the script changes they will just close down the GMR for "maintenance issues", a year later, they will open a Hollywood Minnie and Mickey Mouse Meet & Greet in what was the lobby entrance for the ride and no one will talk about it until 2021 or so....

........... That only works for 'submarine' attractions.

The ride is now almost more than half automated script by Robert Osborne, the preshow is also a new one narrated by him, all interactive scenes (gangsters and western) are the same

I am definitely not happy with this. GMR relies on the cast members to actually play a role as a...*drumroll* cast member, who is taking you on a journey into the movies! I always go on GMR because it felt personal and interactive.

I'll hold my judgment until I ride it next weekend but so far I am not fond of this change.

Correction on the interactive scenes...there are script changes as Robert Osborne does interact with the CM during this time...and sadly there is a lack of dialogue it seems from the animatronics ;(
