Tattoine Traders - Still Open during Star Tours changeover?

We'll be heading down to WDW in little over 3 weeks. Some friends are coming along and they have a 5 year old who wants to see some Star Wars stuff. Does anyone know whether or not Tattoine Traders is still open while they do the Star Tours changeover in the mani building?

It'll crush the little guy if it's closed too.

It may be close on timing - but the 5 year old may be interested in the Jedi Training Academy. My kids LOVED it - we were there 2 weeks ago. Get to the stage next to Star Tours EARLY - they sign up kids in 15 kid increments for the shows for the entire day. It was definitely a highlight of the trip.

Has anybody seen any concept art of the exterior of star tours? Hope they keep the AT Walker outside.

It would be funny if one of the tour scene the pilot accidentally release a cable on Hoth and pull down one of those AT Walker during a battle.

Haha. I rather like the idea behind that of dum hero luck. Good thinking.


I am sure the ATAT will remain as well as all of the other things outside will remain.They will probably be freshened up and the poster art outside on the building will be changed. I really don't think much else besides that will happen.

I would expect them to take time in the gift shop mainly to bring in new merch inspired by the new attraction.
