Taking my mom and my brother to WDW for their first time in 11 years

For the first time in 11 years (I went last summer) my family is going to go to Disney World for me and my brother's 22nd birthday. We are planning on the 17th-23rd of December. Can you see any reason not to go during this time?

Sorry, I just read your other post about this. I see now that it is Dec.:xmas:

It will be very busy, but it wouldn't stop me from having some magical fun!

It'll be busy but I think it would be a very fun time to go!

That was a bad time to go to the parks. Can you try something earlier like some time in Sept.? When school starts for the kids from what I've seen down here in the last year is the best time. Until Thanksgiving then after that it gets busy until Christmas. It slows down a bit but not as it was in Sept and Oct.

I've been there at that time of year and the crowds haven't been too bad. What will happen is that the 17-20 will not be that crowded, but each day coming towards the end of the week you will see the crowds increase as people are arriving for the xmas holiday. Saturday and Sunday will probably be very crowded.

We were there around that time last year, and it was less crowded than when we went in November. Are you attending MVMCP? We took my parents for their first time last year and they had such a good time we're all going back Dec 17-21 and trying to get DH's side of the family together so we can have a grand gathering:sohappy:

From what I have heard, it will be busy!
But, I would LOVE to visit WDW during Christmas - I hope to do it one day myself!:xmas:
If you are flying, make sure you book your flights in time due to the holiday.

Yes. But since you'll have park hoppers, you can just hop over to another park for dinner and the rest of the evening.
