Yeah it all depends on how often you eat/drink at Disney. For me it is a no brainer. With 3-4 trip a year it is a big savings.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
For us which is just me and DH it's not worth it b/c we only usually go once a year and have done the math vs regular dining plan etc. I always ad up our spending on food after each trip and it just isn't beneficial to us. We do go for 10+ days and eat at signatures, buy appetizers extra and alcohol and it still did not make sense for us ESP being most quick services do not take it. Some do but very few. Factoring in the cost of the card, doing the dining plan came out about $200 better than going off dining plan and going to all the same places , getting the same stuff and using the TIW card. Maybe once we would go more than once a year it may be worth it for us but until then we just do the regular dining plan. :)

Yep, it's worth it. We go at least 10 times a year. The savings really start adding up, especially if you enjoy table service and alcohol.

you dont have to spend 500.00 to be worth it. Lets say family at 4 eat at a signature restayrant at 36.99 times 4 is 147.96 a 20% savings is 29.59 plus free valet parking a 15.00 savings = 44.59 do that twice and the cards almost paid for itself. So really more like 350.00 in dining and 2 Valets and its paid for. plus the fact that POP, AOA and POFQ take it and savings add up fast. Our just go to VIC and ALS once and it will save you 109.00 LOL.

Again I agree with ugotzme. A few weeks ago my husband and I went for the weekend. We ate at Wolfgang puck, trails end and Kona cafe. We had drinks at the Polynesian and grand Floridian. In just those 2 1/2 days, we saved 100 bucks, which is the cost of the card for us. So the card is already paid for and we still have until the end of next July to save. The options to use it are endless. Can't wait to use it next weekend at hoop de do revue for 6 people.

We have always done the DDP which, up until this year, was great. We had 3 of us who were adults, and one child. Having the child in the group made the meal plan really cheap (around $15/day instead of $50ish). However, this year our DS is 10 and would be considered an adult under the meal plan. I crunched the numbers and it turns out that TiW would save us a few hundred dollars vs the meal plan over 10 days (and that assumes we would eat the same way we would had we been on the DDP (i.e. getting the most expensive item on each table service menu and doing four counter services a day (with dessert)), which we probably won't. The thing that made us consider TiW this year was the double price increase in the DDP this year. I'm glad they did it, or we would never have even looked at TiW.

If you spend more than $500 is restaurants that participate, yes.
Agree.

I have TiW (and whatever it used to be called) for a long time. This is the first year I didn't renew. I just don't eat enough in Disney restaurants any longer. But it was a good savings when I did. :)
