just wanted to start a thread on T-Rex, post any thing about the new T-Rex resteraunt here
Some fairly elementary facts for those unfamiliar:
-Dino-themed table service restaurant
-Operated by the same company as Rainforest Cafe
-It's rumoured to go in Pleasure Island by Raglan Road
-AA Ellen DeGeneres to be installed :lookaroun
You forgot: Dino AAs will eat random screaming children. :lookaroun
That's such a shame.
They should eat them ALL ! :lookaroun

Ellen is cool
From what was reported in an earlier thread the proposed location was in the old valet parking drop off between McDonald's and Fulton's. I do not know how correct this information is as the area looks pretty small when compared to RFC's footprint.don't think there's anything to post. Landry's is taking it's time...still supposed to open in 2008 though. I'll believe it when I see it. I haven't even heard a 100% confirmation of where it will go (though we are pretty sure), leading me to believe they have not even started ground clearing.

I was there about three weeks ago and there was nothing to indicate any work what so ever. I'll be there this weekend but I really do not expect to see so much as a survey flag. This is just speculation but I think they might be waiting for Yak and Yeti to open before they break ground.Yes, and I thought they had started prep work for that area a few months ago.![]()
it would appear so, though I'm not sure why. If the theming is good and the food edible (doesn't even have to be great), you will make a killing at WDW. The restaurant at AK is a guaranteed hit so long as they have options for folks who are less-adventurous eaters...and T-Rex just has traditional American food like you might find at an Applebees, so it'll do just fine. Its menu is actually very similar to Rainforest Cafe's...I was there about three weeks ago and there was nothing to indicate any work what so ever. Which to me has always made me question that particular location, just a stones throw away from RFC. I was thinking that it would be built on the open plot of land next to La Nouba and HoB. I guess they are banking on the probability that 99% of the people at WDW will not realize that a Volcanic Cobb salad and Cosmo's Cobb salad are exactly the same thing. Personally, I am just looking forward to the inevitable reviews pasting and praising essentially the same item.:lol:it would appear so, though I'm not sure why. but now the salad will be garnished with bits of dinosaur instead of bits of elephant.Which to me has always made me question that particular location, just a stones throw away from RFC. This may have been discussed before, but why aren't they building this dinosaur-themed restaurant in Dinoland?
That would make too much sense...
