I remember being disappointed with the tree house when I first saw it. I loved the movie and expected the tree to be just like it and was disappointed it wasn't.

There IS a Tarzan movie with some major stars coming out next year, but it's not a Disney project.

If they're thinking about major changes to Tom Sawyer's Island to make maximum use of every bit of land, Treehouse is another big footprint they must have talked about. So is this more of the plan leading into the 50th anniversary major overhaul?

Never heard any stories of Brazilian tour groups tearing it up' on the Swiss Family Treehouse, nor complaints of ladies breastfeeding kids on it. For this reason alone I'm hoping this classic remains.

I think Agrabah clashes with the rest of the area immediately around it. And the flying carpets are the worst destroyer of the idea of getting away from it all.

Yeah I would hope for a demo. Of all the great classic attractions that were reduced to dust, why is this one still here. Classic, but not great imo.

Much of the Arabian peninsula is actually located in what is described as "the tropics".

The book definition of the tropics is anything within the zones from the Tropic of Cancer (23°26′14.1) to the tropic of Capricorn (23°26′14.1)

So basically only Oman, Yemen, and the bottom third of Saudi Arabia. Thats 1/3 and a very small atypically arid portion of the tropics. The majority is humid (like Florida).

The Flying Carpets, the Jasmine/Aladin meet n greet are both surrounded by the Tiki Room, Aloha Isle, Jungle Cruise and a covered transition to Frontierland. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

This is an under-the-radar classic. The movie needs a reboot or just some regular showings. The classic Disney characters all get their play on various media but this movie should as well. You have to reintroduce this to a younger generation to keep it a classic for the next ten years.

Well, it's giant tree.
It's not a show building that can be re-purposed as something else - except perhaps Tarzan, though I'd say there's little call for that.
It's very structure is integral to the look of the area.
