I am going to have to try one of these when I get down there in December. They don't sound too good but I will give them a shot.

When I was there last year my friend and I went to Wetzel's Pretzels at DTD and we loved the ones they had there. They didn't close this place too did they?:lookaroun:lol:

Essentially, they taste like a bagel with cream cheese. Nothing too special.

I eat the cream cheese stuffed pretzels almost every weekend at Disneyland. I also happen to know EXACTLY what a bagel with cream cheese tastes like (*gasp*) and the 2 are nothing alike.

First of all, the cream cheese Disney uses is sweetened and is closer to the taste of cream cheese frosting than the taste of philadelphia cream cheese. Second of all, the cream cheese in the pretzels is really warm, when I don't think I've ever met anyone who heats up their cream cheese for a bagel. Third, the pretzels are not crispy and toasted like a bagel, they are baked and soft.

Don't know where you get your bagels, but a bagel and a pretzel really do not taste the same. :zipit:
But then again I'm a NYer and bagels in other parts of the country are not what we would call bagels.

Although I don't care for the cream cheese pretzels, I definitely agree!
I find them pretty gross :\

Cinnamon rolls at Main Street Bakery

Had my first one this weekend, I couldnt believe I've been missing out on this wonderfully delicious treat all this time

does anyone know where I can get them outside of disneyworld? they were good enough I'd even order them through the mail

Still like the cinnamon rolls at the Main Street Bakery better! :D They're our traditional post-fireworks 'dinner'... Mmmmmm. ;)

I was also going to say Schwan's...our freezer is stocked full :) I don't know if you have WaWa Gas Stations where you're from, but I have also found them there sitting in one of those warmers near the registers. They're delicious!

That name cracks me up, just like Piggly Wiggly. We don't have fun names here in Indy (we do have Schwans tho).

Also, what are "figaro fries"?

Well, I don't heat up cream cheese on purpose, but if you get your bagels from a bagle store, where they just came out of an oven, then the cream cheese melts. And then when you bite into it in the car, it gloops all down your shirt.

And yeah, a bagle and a pretzel (soft or otherwise) are two VERY different things.

And bagles are not crispy, they are, to rehash a favorite term we coined while working in a grocery store (and used to get morning deliveries or fresh baked bagels from a real bagel store) "all buff and doughy" :)

Figaro Fries are served at the Pinnocchio Village Haus

They used to be french fries covered with melted cheese, crumbled bacon, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, and ranch dressing.

The most disgusting, fattening, thing sold in WDW - and yet I LOVED them. I know, it sounds horrible, but somehow that horrible mess just works. They are also one of the best "fill you up for the money" foods in WDW.

Sadly they have changed them. They are now cheese fries with bacon bits. Rumor is if you ask for it, they will put the lettuce and tomato on them, and point you to the condiment stand for ranch dressing. I have not had them the "new" way, but it just does not seem the same.

This all sounds gross to me since I don't eat cheese - but I just had to jump in and say that "Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzels!" sounds like something Perry White would yell at Jimmy Olsen at the Daily Planet in Metropolis! :ROFLOL:

This is one thing my DW has to get every time we go to the MK. We stop by the Launching Pad and she eats her pretzel while I take the kids on the rocket jets...she gets motion sick, even just watching us...

Now I know I can order them...I know one thing Santa is bringing her.

I was being facetious. Get a grip.
