Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers

Ben is amazing. He fully deserves to win if he gets to the end. And if anyone will be bitter, it will be Ashley. But it won't be against Ben, because her offered her an out.

My rankings of winners, should they get there:

1. Ben
2. Chrissy
3. Devon
4. Mike
5. Ryan

I think the final 3 will be Ben, Chrissy and Ryan. I think Ryan is the goat. He's kind of playing the Hannah Shapiro role from Millennials vs Gen X.

I can't stand Chrissy, though. The minute something doesn't go her way, she can't take it and everyone is out to get her. But when she's in control, her ego is massive.

I think he would deserve to win if he makes it to the end however I do tire of people constantly finding idols. I don’t think it’s strategic game play to just keep finding idols they need to cut it off at a certain number of people left. I appreciate the showmanship but the arrogance is getting a little tiring as well. If Chrissy wasn’t so arrogant he would seem WAY too arrogant but both of them being that way makes it not stand out as much I think haha.

Devon is flipping alliances too often. It doesn’t even seem to be for strategic reasons anymore, it’s just who he likes the most that day. It is nice for him though that everyone seems to want to work with him. Ashley deserves to be mad at him.

I've never liked how they put symbols on trees, especially the same ones. I like when clues are randomly found, like at rewards or in a tree. Then the clues lead on a bigger hunt. That's what they used to do, but I think it took too long to get idols, and production didn't like that. They like weekly idol plays, which is why they are easier to find.

But also, if he was gone for 45 minutes at a time... WHY DIDN'T YOU GO FOLLOW HIM?! PULL AN ANDREA! NO WONDER HE KEEPS FINDING THEM!

Yeah I’m just reading dalton ross’ recap and he’s going on and on about how no one was following him haha. Remember when they had to swim across the ocean to another island just to find a CLUE for the idol?? With savvy players like there are this season I don’t think you need constant idols to keep it interesting.

There's no going back from idols and advantages. Casual viewers, which is who CBS is trying to pull in... they already have us die hards locked, like craziness and excitement.

Yeah I know :( sad but true. How many new viewers do you think they get a season? Like who is like “hey this show has had 35 seasons maybe it’s time I check it out??” :joyfull:

I know Ben is a huge force right now, but if I were on the jury I'd still think twice about voting for him. He's simply just survived off of being good at scavenger hunts the past two rounds, which I don't think is what Survivor should be all about.
Right now I'm pulling for Devon, he's been really fun and likable, and has more game awareness than meets the eye (and think he has the best shot at winning too probably). I don't like Chrissy or Ben very much but they're probably the next two most likely to win in the end. I don't think Dr. Mike or Ryan will be able to win.

Also...what the heck was that Jeff? Idols are not supposed to be played/verified until after the votes have been cast...Who knows if it would have changed the result, but stretching the rules for some BIGMOVEZ good TV is annoying.

I'm not sure how many "new" viewers they pick up, but I'm sure there are a lot of fair weather fans who will watch only during good seasons, or else they tap out.

Yeah Ben is kind of reminding me of Mike from MvGenX. A few good moves, a few bad moves, and LOTS of luck.

I was 100% pulling for Devon until he flipped alliances AGAIN this week.

I wish they had shown more of what lead up to Ben playing that idol because it seemed like there was a conversation edited out. I assume they agreed with Jeff that he could do that because then Ben could have taken it back after the vote? It didn’t seem like we got the whole story on that one.

So you mean Mike from Worlds Apart? I can't remember one from MvGX. But I noticed a Mike comparison the past week or two. In total control, then for seemingly no reason, blew up his own game. Although Ben was probably a bigger target than Mike was when he blew up his game. But in interviews, it sounds like Mike was going to be targeted even before he made the move at the auction.

Ugh yes of course Worlds Apart. I do try to block that season from my memory .

I was never on the Joe bandwagon. He's good a challenges, but not much else. He's a lesser Ozzy, and I don't even like Ozzy. Malcolm is my favorite from "that" group of Survivors. But Malcolm is strategic, too.

Haha nah not as a player, just as eye candy. And he was just a nice, positive person.

I have a 3 month old named Malcolm. NOT named after the Survivor player if my husband asks... :hilarious:

Whaaaatttt?!!! WA is one of my favorite seasons. I get why people don’t but I think it’s still one of the best and most satisfying seasons for me.

I think Joe was a lot more strategic than the show gave him credit for him, they kinda tried to shoehorn him into the challenge god golden boy edit. We did see him do some clever moves like the fake idol with Mike, and setting up alliances on Ta Keo.
