Three seasons? You have just started watching the show.

Glad you joined us. Hope you have checked out some previous seasons. There were some phenomenal players over the years.
I've tried looking at some previous seasons, but I can't find them easily available. Netflix has them, but they aren't available to stream online. I figured I'd finish off this season before I look harder for them. I don't want to mix the seasons up and get confused. I did watch the beginning of the very first episode, and boy does it look like the game has changed!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Before the jury I just wanted to say this without and hindsight. Woo.... wow. I can't believe he voted Kass out. I had the exact same expression that Spencer had. That can either go one of two ways. First, the jury could hold a grudge/admire his loyalty. Second, they could vote for Tony because of the stupid decision he just made. I'm just glad it's not a Kass/Woo final. Neither deserve to win, and I was worried it would be a final full of non-deserving players.

Also, I hate the final two thing. Final three is a lot better.

Congrats to Tony! He played one heck of a game. The most aggressive player I've witnessed in the 3 seasons I've watched.

Great season, probably my favorite of the three I've watched. So many good players, so many great moments. I'm hoping Spencer and maybe Tasha get a chance to play again if they want. There are certain things I didn't favor, such as the special idol and the final two instead of final three, but I like the three tribes, and I think this cast was amazing. Overall a fantastic season.

I also noticed they didn't do the fan favorite vote for the second season in a row. Was that just a one time thing, or did it just end?

I would've kept it a secret! Your problem would have been the rest of the world.
Exactly. A pic of Parvati and the winner will be on my FB page tomorrow.

Like I said, I figured I'd let you have the honours! I considered you my Survivor buddy this season.

Sadly, my SIL's brother has been paralyzed and on life support for the past 10 weeks, so by necessity, she bailed on this season early.

I liked this post for the first two parts. The third part, no.

But I'm always happy to talk to Survivor. Unfortunately none of my friends outside of these forums are into it. One just likes to watch for the challenges, but doesn't follow it. I tried explaining it to another friend, but he was just confused and thought it was just a show people watch to see others starve on an island. When I explained it some more somehow it got to the topic of voting people out. I said the reason one person was voted out was because they were likable. He was very confused by this. So the lesson here is, it's not easy to teach someone about the game and how it works. You have to watch it to understand.

PS- I have no idea how I got to that conclusion from what I intended to put in this post, but most people know I just post every Survivor-type thought that comes to my head when it comes to this thraed.

Yowza, I was sweating out that final 3 challenge. I didn't want Kass to come anywhere near the final 2. Hated to see her win the challenge at 4 left as well. Disliked her very much. Spencer nailed it that Tony totally deserved to win this one. He played his off and while not as evil as Russell, he did do some things that were underhanded. But luckily this Jury was good enough to reward him with the million and the title.

Just like Colby, Woo made the wrong move. Not much more to say about that one.

Trish's final tribal spiel...WOW!!! Very intense.

I didn't like the cut away's to the live show during the final 2 hours. Obviously nothing interesting was happening, so they needed filler.

B vs W...I'm a little conflicted. While it did work the first time, I don't want any returning players this time. All newbies please.

And get rid of the special powers idol and redemption island. Once you are voted out, you're gone. Do your playing before the vote.

I forgot to comment on Trish's spiel. That was intense. I would like to know who she voted for. It definitely struck a personal chord with her.

Also with the B vs W theme again, I agree that the redemption island should be out of the factor. I wonder if they'll bring it back because it's a chance to get a family member back in play. I would also like an entirely new cast this time. I don't like the newbie/returnee mix. It's an unfair advantage to those who have played before. I do hope they find a combination of players like this season. This season was great in terms of relationships and feuds. Also would like to see a father/son combination or father/daughter or mother/son. They only seemed to focus on relationships of the same gender or spouses last time. I also don't think they had a father/son relationship, so that would be interesting to see.

Some on the jury who seemed bitter at Tony must have voted for him anyway. Maybe even Trish. I wonder how many votes were changed by Spencer's amazing speech for Tony.

I would bet Tash was the only Woo vote. If there were more they would have placed them in order in the urn so Jeff would read Tony, Woo, Tony, Woo and it would be dramatic. He only read one Woo - probably the only one.

I hate waiting until the next season. I wonder who will be back?
