A Mission Space query for regular EPCOT visitors

Now that I don't live in central Florida, I'm down to visiting Disney every year or two. Thus, I have a query for the routine (lucky b*$t*rd$) visitors to the World. Reading between the lines - Is it true that Test Track has much longer lines than MS for the most part? Also, does anyone have access to data on the number of riders the Future World rides see over the course of the year (this would correct for capacity (or throughput as we dorky scientists would put it)) differences between the rides? I'm really curious about this. Personally, I much prefer MS to Test Track and would be very happy if on future trips I could ride MS again and again whilst others spent their time in line for Test Track. In my ideal world I would have both MS and Horizons, but alas that is not to be.

Most days M:S rarely has a line over 10 minutes long even while Soarin and Test Track are over an hour.

Also, even though many of us would like to say, "Well he is only 21 and needs to grow up" that would be a disservice to our younger more intelligent members (Connor and a few others come to mind).
Lol. I am 17 and I do NOT behave like that.

Ooohhh, let me throw in, too!!

I LOVE M:S -- the ride, the theme, the story. I don't get the complaints about the lack of a story.

The first time I rode it was about two weeks after the child died, so I was very concerned that I would get ill. No problems at all. A friend wasn't so lucky. She came through the ride OK, but got a little green afterwards.

M:S is alot better if you're an MST fan. ("Mars, extending us a velcome!" "Were on our way!!!" "Mission Control, solve your little problems and light this candle!")

True, true. Just put a "White Sands" sign up at the entrance and you've got a Lippert film!

I'm pretty sure real astronauts don't feel too golden after the real deal, so it is realistic. If I ride it too often, I'll get a headache.

Well according to them yes they do feel that bout of motion sickness once they get into space. Not everyone just some of them. If your wondering how I know, last time I went to KSC we managed to have lunch with an astronaut and were talking about things of that nature. And if you check out the website www.space.com They usually have tons of news on anything space related. As a matter of fact just remembering that when Denis Tito went into space (the first paying tourist) he had symptons of motion sickness for like 20 minutes or so. I think thats why I like the ride so much because I am a space junkie:hammer: . I know this is not the thread for this, but seems to me were this thread is going. But what I think mission space is missing is a good post show instead of that racers thing. I wish NASA, ESA, JAXA, or RSA (wouldn't that have been cool to have the worlds space agencies have a post show like a world space agency showcase, fitting for EPCOT wouldn't ya think:) ) would have done some post show like educational type thing. But oh well...I still like it.

I found that the worst part of the ride is the very start where the rocket just leaves the launch tower. That, i would feel, could put a lot of people off and the over-warning of conditions and what the ride contains will obviously see people turning away scared of what will actually happen. I know when i first got into the pod i was very scared of the fact there was a sick bag in there and i thought "what on earth is going to happen?".

Once the ride got under way i treated it as a normal simulator and did not feel the spinning and moving as much as some people but as i left the ride i still felt that the launch sequence of the ride made me feel a bit off for an hour or so after the ride. I went onto ride 2 more times.

I agree. The first park made me quesy, but once we were into the blackness of space I was fine. There's something about that video screen, when it was blue with clouds, I had to look away.

Yes that is exactly the part that made me feel terrible as well was the launch part. I felt extreme pressure on my chest and heart at that moment and felt like I was going to pass out. After that part was over it was fine...

You'll have to excuse some of the people on this board. They seem to forget this is the internet.
Well, if someone typed that way and I didn't know they were joking, I'd probably make fun of them too.

There, fixed that for you.

No need to thank me
 I just came into this thread, and I know I have 15 more pages to read before I should post anything, but that was the funniest thing I've read all day.
