That was neat. Thanks for sharing it. I enjoy this sort of thing. There is one of the tv specials that they did about the parks that has a still of Marty Sklar standing next to a big X that has been placed to show where the castle will be build and the date on the still was just a few days before my birth. I think it's neat that I was born into the world around the same time that the MK was being constructed.
According to my father, my first visit to the MK was before the official park opening. He said that he thinks it was the very first day that the park was open to FL residents, but has no proof to back it up other than memories. We do however have some original ride tickets left over from our visits throughout my childhood.
