This is how my last bands came. I figured it was to disguise it from kids. I never thought about waste saving, but that makes more sense. I like minimal packaging so it doesn't bother me. I love it with amazon too.

Am I the only one thinking it's one less thing to hide from the munchkin for our trip? No need to catch the mailman, and hide it in Santas present spot.

It does kind of ruin the presentation and fun of it some. I understand the argument that it isn't needed and is wasteful, but presentation is also important. Granted, it ultimately doesn't matter, but I recently got my magic bands and I was more confused why I had a generic box come in the mail instead of actually being excited about it. But really, getting them in the mail just means less days until going to Disney, so that's excitement enough.
