I know.

So Dot how are things going for you today?

I'm good, thanks.
I'm going to clean the house today. God knows it needs it. :dazzle:
Then I'm going to finish up some computer work for George after which I will make spareribs for dinner. Sounds like a plan, I know. But so far I'm still sitting here!

And how goes it with you? I read that the girls are not happy with the return to early rising.

Behind door number one: BENNY! Simple, easy-to-wear vulcanized sneaker with additional padding in the collar area. $45.

Behind door number two: MATCH MC! This modern look at the Match features a wrapped forefoot and brings a new level of innovation to brown shoes. The Match MC is made of leather. $100.

Behind door number three: BRASIL L! What made Pele world famous are obviously his exploits with the Brazilian national team. Having taken part in four World Cups from 1958-1970 and winning three of them, Pele's the only player in the world to have won the trophy thrice. First introduced in 1972, the PELE Brasil L is made of leather and was his choice off the field. $65.

I'm leaning toward no. 1, but it really depends if you want a light or dark shoe. This is for everyday wear, I presume? No. 2 are very well made, but might not be shoes you'd want to wear everday. For some reason no. 3 seems kind of bland. I vote for no. 1.

Speaking of weddings. . .
Steph, isn't your little window of opportunity approaching?
Indeed it is! Our anniversary is Sept. 4. :) But....I'm not sure it will happen quite by then. I think I've mentioned that he is dead set on not financing the ring. He doesn't mind if we end up financing other things when it comes to the actual wedding (we'll be paying for a good chunk of it, most likely), but he just does NOT like the idea of financing the ring. Which I have to respect. He's going to use his bonus which he gets Sept. 1. I think it may be cutting it a lil close. Plus he really wants to try to catch me offguard a little bit. We had a big discussion about it when we were in Chicago. He said he wished he could've had it already but that there's a "right way to do things". He seemed to be feeling really bad about it, so I've dropped it. I don't want him to feel bad about it. :o It's a really big purchase and I want him to do it "his way" when he's best able to.

My parents are planning on coming sometime between late Sept-early November so they can meet his parents and so my Mom can come dress shopping with me. :) And he's ASSURED me that it will be before then. Plus he knows that we need to get a place booked and that I won't do it until we're engaged. :king:

1 also comes in solid blue and brown. But I haven't decided what I like best yet. I think my mom will lean toward 1 too jut because it's cheapest
