Oh, I will. :D Abby's pretty conservative actually - right now anyway. Couple of years from now it could get interesting. Her main concern right now is looking like a fifth grader and not 'a little kid'.
I remember that concern. It came to me a bit later though. Once I decided I didn't want to wear shirts with cartoon animals anymore. Tell her (from a person who's already been in her position) that if she wants to look the most grown up...to try to wear only solid colors. That's exactly what I do. Most of my shirts are 1 color only and that keeps me from looking like I'm 15. (or in her case 5. )

But, essentially, tell her to wear what she likes and what she's comfortable in. B/c if you aren't comfortable in something, it's gonna bother you all day and then that's all you'll think about.

Matter of fact, just have her read this post. If she ever wants any "older" person wisdom (and we all know how old I am! ) she can always get in touch with me. I'll be more than happy to help her out.

I wonder if that was my Mom's thinking when she let me get a perm in my bangs when I was young. :lookaroun Hmmm....interesting. Here all this time I thought she didn't like me.

:king:
Oh...I know what it feels like to have permed bangs...problem is...mine weren't permed. Mine were natrual. And I hated that they were curly...so I straightened my bangs. For 10 years! I just finally grew them out and I'm very happy I did.

Edit: Hi Dawn!

Well, this was a busy morning round here - kind of a taste of back to school craziness. Joel had his social skills class, then I took Abby to Walmart for some school clothes shopping. Got her 3 pr of jeans, a shirt, and some undergarments. We'll do some more shopping on Thursday at our mall. Kohl's is having a sale right now. We also had to exchange her backpack, as the one I had originally purchased started ripping. :brick: We ended up with one much better made, for only about $3 more. :sohappy: I also found a large tote bag, a beach bag really, for our Florida trip that will be handy for taking towels and sunscreen to the pool. For the trip down it can comfortably hold our snacks.
And that pretty much sums up my morning.

I still have to go school shopping.:dazzle: :(

Where is everyone? I hate being alone.:(

I'm sorry Jo, I'm here - just reading around Magic, mainly the latest comments on Disney's changes to the Dining Plan for 2008...and stuff about costumes for the Halloween party. Mike and I were joking about whether we'd wear a costume or not. Abby's eyes got HUGE when she heard we might dress up.  I could really have some fun with her! :D
