I like most cakes. It really depends who makes it. I have had some really good german choc. cakes, Those were made from scratch. The box kind of mix isn't bad but not the canned icing. :hurl: You have to have homemade icing with it.:sohappy:

But a really good buttercream frosting is to die for.
And then there's chocolate. . .

Do you make a 9 inch round or an oblong cake and leave it in the pan?
This one is a layer cake, but even when I make an oblong, I don't leave it in the pan....
I used to take it out but now I just leave it in.:lookaroun Much easier (I have a lid for my pan that is really good to keep it fresh.:sohappy:
