Trip Report SummerPalooza: When 1 resort reservation morphs into 5 resorts

We have had a few trips this year that were odd for us. The trip where my family had to end their vaction but I stayed on for 3.5 more weeks. I didn't even book a return ticket. Never did that before. My April/May Flower Trip Report: https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/the-one-way-ticket.939721/#post-8162457

This report will start out mostly of semi in-the-moment of the day posts at least for the first half of 3 weeks as we all will be arriving at different points. Like the above report I am not overly wordy but enjoy posting photos of WDW and Food along with adult beverages. Sometimes a tad odd to me behaviors in the parks.

This trip kept expanding in days and as a result resorts this time for reasons I will get around to explaining later, for now mostly photo's of the day. Hope you enjoy.

EDIT: Most of these photos will be Apple Live photos for those of you with Apple devices.

You can see almost daily progress on the Gondola Project at the Sudios.

The parking and bus loop while temporary is bad. It is also overloading the Boats to resorts and Epcot. Generally 3 boats to leave the Studios. The guests are agitated and then we have tour group season that do not believe in lines or common courtesy. There isn’t staff on docks. We are glad we are not at One of those resorts now.

But we were fortunate enough to see the Unicorn eggs though.

Over the last 1.5 days we’ve seen only six service pups. All remarkably well trained. One belongs to an on duty Disney Cast member. One of previous Pups also belonged to a CM at the Contemporary. Also all were either Golden retrievers or Yellow labs. The Sheriffs lab was so bored yesterday at AK that it was time to play catch with the Deputy. An attraction unto himself at Bag Check

Note: we are in a resort building for Pups. There is only one pet currently a guest here. Have not heard or seen him. Yep gloom and doom hasn’t happened

So the kid coughs on your food and the parents see but don't offer to buy you a new one and skip out of the place quickly instead? :cautious::( That's a pretty big jerk move by those parents.

I have a nephew in law that is a clone. As are both of his parents. That Apple and Tree, peas in a pod theory. Kid took it back and Disney exchanged it. I was appalled as it was so deliberate He should have spent the rest of the day in a resort hotel room.

I'm glad you got a new one. Was it the blueberry thing? I really wanted to try that this past visit but we never made it to Satuli.

We had an issue with the 2 young boys and their parents next to us. The boy about 6 years old leaned his head over our table put his face over my kids dessert and coughed on it. Mom saw, Dad saw and the only words spoken were let’s go.

So the kid's a little monster, but the parents are worse!! :banghead: Mind blown.

Well we did the Passholder private toy story this morning and this evening the Passholder event at Epcot. We walked onto everything except Frozen which was our own doing. Timing.

So did they check your Passholder cards to see if they were valid for the Epcot event? I signed myself and my mom up for October but her annual pass expires before we go and she wasn't planning to renew, just has a regular ticket for the trip.

Yes. It is loaded specially on your magic band and it comes up on their iPad as Current Passholder. Actually my two kids annual passes renewed today. They were paid for in advance so they could make FP+ reservations at the 60 day mark for the entire trip. We were hoping for both am and pm Passholder events today there wouldn’t be glitches.

Tonite was as lovely an event as this Morning event was. We had 2 bonus hours in the morning and 2 in the evening with zip crowds.
The events were free. Can’t imagine anyone could complain about either event today. Added bonus as the trip was planned long before Event announcements.

Like I said I have an in law nephew like this. We had a traditional birthday cake for Jesus every Christmas. One year before it was cut he went up to the whole cake and licked the frosting, prolonged like a Pup would. His parents laughed and proudly explained he is so Goofy. We didn’t eat cake.
