What I would want them to see though would be doing Fantasmic every night as part of the promotion, if they don't want to run Fantasmic everynight, maybe they could look into installing the proper infrastructure to run DHS's parade at night since the BPB floats(now PPCTF floats) have nightime lighting on them and are ready to go. I know it wouldn't be as nice as Fantasmic but it'd be nice to have something at night at DHS, and I know the parade is probably A LOT cheaper to run than Fantasmic.
Great ideas, but why not
both of those things?!
Block Party Bash and Pixar Play Parade were
both designed to work as night parades, they have lighting effects installed on every unit, and they were both regularly scheduled nighttime showings at DCA from 2005-10.
Pixar Play Parade, in particular, has the full night effects designed into the floats. The Jack Jack flame effect in The Incredibles float looks much cooler at night than it does in the daylight. DCA runs Pixar Play Parade at night, even this past Christmas with World of Color going three times nightly. It's definitely a possibility for them for DHS this summer.
Here's a YouTube of what Pixar Play Parade looks like at night, before it morphs with Block Party Bash and becomes the Countdown To Fun parade at DHS. Lots of possibilities here for a night version! (Flaming Jack Jack shows up around 1:50 in this vid)

And Disneyland runs Fantasmic! twice nightly
seven nights a week all summer long (and twice or thrice nightly again at Christmas and Easter, and off-season weekends, etc.), so there's really no good excuse why they couldn't do the same at DHS. Especially considering DHS has that custom built theater, where Disneyland's uses the space and vehicles of four daytime operating attractions (Mark Twain, Sailing Ship Columbia, Canoes, Tom Sawyer Island) to morph into two nightly shows in the byways of a busy theme park. DHS needs to step up and schedule two nightly shows seven days a week, at the very least in summer. There's just no good excuse I can think of to not do that.
Heck, if they did a night version of Countdown To Fun, plus a dance party with live bands and better go-go dancers in front of the hat, and ran Fantasmic! twice per night with a summer Tower of Terror overlay, DHS alone could be the Summer Nightastic! headquarters park for WDW. Tons and tons of possibilities here!
