Hey all! I haven't been around for awhile; I'm sorry. I hope everyone has had a really good summer so far and that all is well!!! I've been pretty busy this summer, have a really good one. I actually had gotten two offers early in the summer, early June, both weren't right though and I turned down both. I took some time off, played a lot of golf, did a lot of relaxing... but then I began looking pretty hard, wasn't getting far and started freaking out and worrying about never finding a job. However, I got an offer today and a really really good one!! It's a great opportunity, I'm really excited, and I got it just in time because it means Allie and I are getting an apartment together! We will probably be moving in together in a month and I'm extremely excited/nervous. I've been in my current house for 19 years, so I'm sad about that, my mom cried most of today, I feel bad, but I'm really excited...
The proposing thing this January won't be happening, just because it really would be a little too soon... I think its best we both settle down a bit, get settled into living together, and see how things goes... maybe this time next year I'll be ready to though. We'll see. We're still going to Disney in january because my father and sister-in-law are running in the marathon... but no proposal.
