Hey Luke! How was glow in the dark bowling the other night?
Didn't end up going
We saw Hairspray instead, which was awesome.
Okay, bye for real.

Oh right. Sorry, got their names mixed up:hammer:
Ooo, I want to see that movie. Have a great day, Luke!Didn't end up going

My mom used to (and still does sometimes) go through all of our names before she'd get the right one. I was usually "RyanStacieTravisSTEPH"! And every once in awhile the dog would make it in there too "StacieTravisBrandyRyanSTEPH" :lol:Everyone does it.
Considering they are not alike in any respect, including looks, their names are the only things that can easily be mixed up.
Good morning Dawn!
hello Dawn!
There were 7 of us, and my mom would do the same thing....:lol:My mom used to (and still does sometimes) go through all of our names before she'd get the right one. Oh no, Dawn!hi Dot & Betty!
I just had a phone call from the other grandmother.
I am just sooo upset right now. My brother is not making things easy for this baby situation. He got drunk and went to her mothers and started a whole bunch of things. We do not know what to do about it.

Dawn, as hard as it is, you have to accept the fact that your brother has to fix his own problems. That doesn't change the fact that that baby is your niece, but you have to think of what's best for the baby. My youngest brother lost his wife to cancer when his 3 kids were all under 10. He turned to alcohol and drugs and you name it, and if not for her parents, I don't know what would have happened to those kids. Dave & I have helped them in every way we could, and we are still very close to them. I know it's hard, but until your brother seeks the help he needs, there will always be problems. Just be there for him and for that beautiful little girl.hi Dot & Betty!

So funny!
Oh boy.
Your brother has some serious issues and you're not responsible for him.
BUT. . .It's very important to remember that the baby did not ask for this situation and needs all the love she can get. You would not want to see her involved in a tug-of-war or disappear completely from your lives.
((Hugs))I know.. I will talk to you all later I am too upset to talk right now. love you guys.

{{hugs}} Dawn. It'll all work itself out someway. He just needs to find some help in his own way. It's a long, complicated story but we went through a similar situation with my brother years ago. It was really, really bad for a while and there was a child (my nephew) and a substance problem involved as well. Eventually, he got the help he needed and has been happy (and sober) for about 4 years now. He just got married last fall (they had a dry reception) and is just the best, most commited dad ever. You would never even know there was a problem at one time. Everything is perfectly fine now, but there were some REALLY, really tough and scary times there for awhile.
I guess there's a lot of that going around.....{{hugs}} Dawn. It'll all work itself out someway. He just needs to find some help in his own way.
