There's no reason why in this day and age Disney can't foot the bill themselves if they can't get sponsors to do so.
But think of the shareholders!

Was surprised to be able to ride on Tuesday and meant to stop in here to share the update. This is good news .
Unfortunately it still is planned to close by the end of the year.I could only see up until the word "return" in the headline. So I was hoping it would say that the icons were returning.
But Sum of all Thrills is just as good to hear. To me, it better than Mission Space, so I guess I'd consider it the 11th ride in the park. I'm glad it's staying, and glad they have the good sense to keep it running even without a sponsor. And I hope it doesn't just run for a few more months, I hope it stays.
Does that mean we will start to see signs of progress on the FW revamp project?Unfortunately it still is planned to close by the end of the year.
It's a shame because I really loved the area music for Innoventions. Especially the old version before they shortened it.I haven't read the entire thread, but poor Innoventions is Disney World's Old Yeller. Can someone just take it behind the shed already and put it out of its misery already?
I wouldn't expect to see that too soon. I think in the near future the only thing we'll see will be the continuation of the decline of Innoventions unfortunately .Does that mean we will start to see signs of progress on the FW revamp project?
I thought this what a hint of what Epcot could be.
It gets youngsters thinking about science and maths, whilst entertaining and offering a thrill. Madness to shut it despite its limited capacity. If anything it should be upgraded and expanded.
Well I guess it has to get worse before it gets betterI wouldn't expect to see that too soon. I think in the near future the only thing we'll see will be the continuation of the decline of Innoventions unfortunately .
No we have to wait for it to rot awayCan we bury Future World's body yet?
I was going to make a funeral pyre joke, but there was no way to do so without it sounding like a threat. No we have to wait for it to rot away
Well, that makes you sound like a total perv.I guessed i just NAILED the coffin
Probably like the progress you saw at DHS when they closed Backlot Tour almost two years ago and no progressDoes that mean we will start to see signs of progress on the FW revamp project?
