Amy, I keep doing good to talk to girls, I just got off the phone with my buddy and he was just like "I hate you. You keep talking bout ready to try and start dating... girls seem to love you, you do so well, AND YOU WALK AWAY EVERYTIME!"
One of the best looking girls stopped to talk TO ME... she approached me after my buddies told her it was my birthday. And I just said "I'm an honest guy, I can't lie, it's not really my birthday, but thank you."
quick edit: I talked to her briefly before, and I walked away. She came back out and seeked me out, well in passing she stopped me to talk to me. If a girl has ZERO interest, I doubt she'd stop me... she stopped me to talk to me...
And she was like "wow that is honest of you, don't want free drinks all night?"
So i said not on a lie... and she kept talking to me, but she was in line to the bathroom, and like went in and looked back at me when she went in...

Oh well, I love my life and I love my stories and I love just going out having fun. I finally realized how great my life is... I don't need a girl right now... I've had one my entire young adult life... I'm having fun with my boys right now.

Joe, I think you're great. And I think you're 100 % right about just having fun and being single. There's no need to rush things, besides that relaxed attitude will actually work in your favor when the time comes.

I mean... they almost always are...
I just need to gain the confidence... and it's not even so much confidence... it's getting rid of the fear of looking like a scumbag/creepshow for talking to girls at a bar... that's how I generally always feel.
Ahhhhhhhhh well.
Going home to have dinner with the fam then going out tonight with the girl who is legit my best friend; and unfortunately over the last weeks I've been like... really starting to get feelings for. More and more everyday... she has a bf. So don't worry... I'd never ever everrrrrrr tell a girl who has a bf anything to jeopardize that OR our friendship.
So she's gonna be my "wingwoman" tonight. :lol:

Well, do keep in mind that you've been out of the "scene" for 7 years. Geez, most guys have no concept of "creepy"...you're amazingly self aware for an XY.
