Suiting Up for Spring with Magic Friends

Totally have Disney on the brain right now...just had a memory flash of when Mickey came to our table at the Lilo and Stitch breakfast on our 2006 trip. We sang the Mickey Mouse Club theme song (original) as he approached and he was so cute and got so into it, "conducting" us...

I miss Mickey...

Sorry we won't be there Amy. :( But someday we will meet, I know it.

And I need to get some rest. I'm taking Joel to school in the morning, doing any laminating I need to at the school, then baking a batch of cookies and taking them down to my folks. Sleep sweet everyone!

Aw...Am,that's so sweet.

Speaking of Mickey, Jo, here's an etiquette question. Last time we met Mickey at a breakfast (Ohana again, go figure, it's like my favorite breakfast in the world) I had to walk behind him to get around for the pic (you know how awkward it gets with all the chairs and stuff). And I'm like "Okay, Im right behind you Mickey, coming around" because I was thinking how difficult it must be to see with that...size of ears on your head...

But in retrospect i wonder if I sounded like a doof? Which would not be unheard of for me, BTW. You're friends with characters, what's your take?

That's fine. :) Some of the restaurants are really tight to get around in (for both characters and people). The CP is the same way, with all those tables.

I thought so...never mind that it was just me and my baby sis (25 at the time!) actually singing it, since the wee ones got too shy and all the other adults were too cool to join in. :lookaroun

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...you get out of Disney what you put into it.

Come to think of it, I haven't actually said that before, but now that I have said it, I'm gonna say it all the time.

What??? What did you notice??I actually have no plans to watch the movie, but I make a regular habit of reading full length spoilers on line. This way I will know whether or not I would like the movie ahead of time.

Gah, the poor characters...those restaurants have got to be a real challenge. But I am still amazed at how well they do...after Stitch visited our table, my baby sis (again, she was 25) looked at her digital shot of them together and started CRYING when she realized her face was blocking Stitch's eye. So she was bound and determined to get a better shot...every time he passed to greet new guests, she called to him and waved him over. You know Stitch, he made no way hands at her and generally acted bratty...but made a point right before he went on break to come back to our table for her. Of course once he got to our table he at first ignored her just to make her suffer a bit more...how that character even knew to come back in all that chaos is beyond me...

Yep, I am WALLOWING in Disney memories...

Hee hee. That's a great Disney philosophy. :)

A couple of things, actually. I found a mistake in the baseball scene (let me know if you want me to say it). And I found Victoria in the prom scene (before she is up in that attic)!

Oh, you can say anything to me about Twilight. Only prob is, I am loaning my copy out tomorrow...so I won't have it for reference. Is the movie good? Heard it wasn't true to the book.

Oh the mistake isn't anything you need the book for (it's a visual mistake).

I liked the movie (even if it was a little off from the book).

Okay, then after I watch the movie you can tell me. I love stuff like that.

My favorite you tube at the moment:

You don't have to have seen the movie or even like ABBA to get this clip. Such is the power of Meryl Streep, even though she is a a complete moonbat.
