I know, and I know that we gave her a much better life for the past year and a half or so than she had at SIL's. I just hate having to make that decision.

Everyone hates having to make that decision. Trust me. I know when it's Basha's time...I'm going to have to get another dog. My life will be so empty without her.

I know that is such a hard decision to make...we had to do that with my cat a few years back.
Deep down I knew it was the right thing for her, but it was still so incredibly hard.

Losing a pet can just be so unbelievably painful sometimes, I've lost two dogs, and it's just... so difficult... I'm really sorry Betty... I wish there was more I can say to make it better...

I survived...today. Unfortunately they're not done. My department is still "strategizing" so it could be the end of the week before we know the outcome. :brick:

Still feeling uber icky & congested. And I have a long 12-hour day tomorrow so gonna camp out on the sofa for the rest of the night.
