Suiting Up for Spring with Magic Friends

Hi Chris - just read about your doctor's advise.

Hi Chris!
Read about your appointment.
Sorry to hear all that.
How are you feeling?

I'm feeling ok. The baby loves to hang out in my ribs which means I'm pretty much sore all the time. I get one good night sleep surrounded by many many bad nights where I hardly sleep at all. I'm not used to sleeping on my side, so I wake up with sore shoulders and hips. Other than that I'm good:lol:

Hopefully my appointment next week will go better. We travelled home for my shower over the weekend so we were in the car for about 4 1/2 hours Saturday morning and another 5 1/2 to come back. We were only home for a little over 24 hours. Then I spent Mon and Tues running some errands and working on stuff around the apt. Hopefully if I take it easy things will calm down.

Just try to keep your feet up whenever possible. It helps a lot.

Let's hope so.
Do everything the doctor tells you...even if it means missing the shower.
You've got more important concerns.

I'm going to try to keep my butt parked on the couch with my feet up as much as possible. My feet are not the prettiest things right now. I keep looking at them thinking "those do not belong to me." Putting on shoes is a real joy

I remember those days and the rib-kicks very well. It will all be worth it though - honest.

well, once you get used to living without sleeping or showering anyway...

I really want to be there, but I need to keep this baby baking for a little longer. I guess I'll just take it day by day and see what he says next week.

Good plan.
Let's hope you can be here.

Indeed.
Rib kicks, heartburn, backache...then no sleep or time for yourself.
Still...the little buggers are worth it all!

Several of DH's cousins told me that I don't look nearly uncomfortable enough yet. I wanted to poke them in they eye :lookaroun:lol:

I have another ultrasound next week to see if the baby is still breech...if so I could be delivering as soon as 5 weeks from now

Yikes!

You could be a mother by Mother's Day!
