Hey! Back from lunch! Its raining cats and dogs out there today.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to stop in quickly before I attempt to take a nap (I've had a hard time sleeping lately :snore:)

Just got back from the doctor and it looks like I'm going to be iffy for the shower :(. My blood pressure has been slowly going up (a little last week and a little higher this week). My lower legs and feet have also been really really puffy for the past couple of days. The doctor wants me to take it easy and drink lots of water. It's not official bed rest yet, but if things don't start improving I may be headed that way. I asked him about car trips and he said we'll talk about it next week depending on how that appointment goes. Also when he came in after I had been on the monitors for awhile he came in and looked at it longer than usual and said "it looks ok" usually he looks quickly and says it looks great.

Hopefully everything will look better next week. We were actually supposed to go to an engagement party in Philly the day after the shower, and I need to travel home again sometime before the baby to get my car inspected. I'm going to do my best to take it easy, but I feel like I have so much stuff that needs to get done before the baby gets here. This nesting thing is some pretty strong stuff....makes me want to rearrange and organize everything in the house :lol:

Right now I am on here, talking to my sister though email, talking on the phone, and drying clothes. :shrug:
I told my son what all I was doing he said "you can do it all because you are mom" :sohappy:
Boy do I have him fooled. :lol:

First things first. GET SOME REST. You don't want to be put on bed rest. It is not fun. Although you can get caught up with your TV programs. :lookaroun

Awwwww I'm sorry to hear that! :(

I hope you're able to make it to the shower!

Definitely rest up and just try to stay calm and relaxed. Don't worry too much about the things going on. Just relax and stay calm... it'll help your blood pressure.

I hope it gets better and you're able to make it to Philly!

Sorry to hear the news wasn't so great... but it'll be okay just stay relaxed.
