Suiting Up for Spring with Magic Friends

Yup, my baby brother is graduating from HS. Plus we haven't been home since October and won't be able to go again until Christmas. And we're supposed to stop in Chicago on the way to see the girls while it's still just the 2 of us.

Driving or flying...that is the discussion. We have flights booked, but are considering driving. My doctor usually cuts off flying at 30 weeks...I will be 30 on the way 32 on the way home. I asked her about it and she said "you should be fine".
The thing that makes me nervous is that I absolutely hate to fly. It stresses me out on a good day. Add in a good May thunderstorm and forget about it. And at that point stress can induce labor and I really don't want to go pre-term that early. SO DH thought it'd be less stressful and comfortable for me if we drive. Obviously we'd have to stop quite a bit so I could move my legs, but....well the closer it gets the more I'm considering it.

I vote you drive then. You'll be happier that way. I love road trips... they're always so much fun!!! :D

Yes I am a wussy scaredy-cat baby :o

Morning All!

Morning Slamma

No, I think driving would be safer....why stress yourself if you don't have to? Will your family be having a shower for you while you're out there?

Morning Jenn!

Morning Steph! How are you feeling today?

Hi Jenny, good morning! How are you today? I kinda like it too. I was looking for something Disney-Beach-y. :)

That works. :) I'm good - just finished my toaster strudel. I have a bunch of bills to work on :hurl:, but I am hoping to make a major payment on our Nov. Disney trip.

It is a loooong drive, but if we split it up into 2 days each way it's not too bad. About 11-12 hours of driving each day. :lookaroun BUT it would be less stressful for sure.
Not sure if they will have a shower or not. I doubt it, I'm not sure when they would have it with the Graduation and all. It's really not that big of a deal if we don't have time for one. I'll just be so glad to see everyone.

Morning Joe!
Yeah, I'LL be happy. But DH may regret pushing so hard to drive after spending 24 hours each way w/ a hormonal 7-month preggers wifey :goodnevil

Jon has... what we'll call a "little problem" when it comes to quoting people...

He tried to quote me... but instead just has it look like HE said what I said.

So everything you quoted from Jon, the only thing he actually said was;

"Thanks and don't worry, you'll be fine on your interview!"
