Stroller rain covers

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a stroller rain cover. We have a graco, it's not an umbrella stroller but not a double wide or anything. I have been looking at different kinds but they all look like they either aren't long enough so their shoes get wet or don't really cover the back.

Man, did I ever learn this lesson the hard way last trip. Once your stroller gets wet, that's it. You're done for the day.

Last time I was in a pouring rain storm with no stroller cover of my own, most of the other guests had fashioned their own stroller covers out of garbage bags and/or ponchos. Crude, but it seemed to do the trick for them.

Not so much for me. But that's another story.

I use a Neat Sheet they are called. It is a ground cover used for picnics and such. The small size has weights on the corners and it worked well and stayed over our stroller when we went in to a ride incase in rained. I also fashioned my own way to use it along with the rain boot that my stroller came with. It also came in handy to use as a sun shade while my daughter slept, just to help shut out a little noise and such. A great investment for us we use it all the time even at home. I bought ours at babies r us but I'm sure they have them every where.

There are some really awesome covers out there. It's been so long since I've been in a Babies R Us, I can't remember if they are pricey or not? But it seems like if your little one was really little it would be worth the investment.

We always use a Dollar Store Poncho over our umbrella strollers. Put the kids in one and then put one over the stroller.

I'll have to look and see if I have any pictures.

On our last, very rainy trip, we went to the BRU out in town and bought their brand deluxe stroller rain cover. It worked awesomely. It has a window for them to see out of, the sides have net so if its hot but sprinkling they get the breeze still. The plastic snaps over the net and the nets zip open to get them out easily. The back has a little 6x6 dry pocket, and it reached down far enough to keep stuff in the bottom basket dry (save for the bottom of the basket, but jut stick a plastic bag at the bottom to use as a barrier for that. It was either 20 or 25 dollars. We have a graco, and it was seriously perfect.

I found my daughters stoller cover at Babies R Us for 25 dollars and it was a lifesaver during our trip not only for rain but for a wind shield. It was super cold when we went in December and it kept her toasty warm inside. it covered the entire stroller all the way doen to the wheels so our daughters feet stayed dry and warm! The best investment we ever made!!!!!
