This is a discussion board and people are allowed to express their opinion be it positive or negative. If you don't like it, don't read it. :brick:

Completely useless thread in the wrong forum.

Do you feel better now that you got that off your chest?

And we'll continue to see them complain about it next year as well. Look how long they've been whining about the Adventurers Club... :ROFLOL:

Complaining is what half of these boards consist of!

How often do you read complaining of...
Fastpass
ADRs
Journey Into Imagination refurb
New narration on TTA
Cranes/Construction tarps around MK
The Descent on SSE
Bring Horizons/Mr Toad/20,000 leagues, etc...back
The Hat
The Wand
Crowd levels
ECV use and abuse
Lack of ride/resort merchandise
Ticket/Resort/Merch/Food prices
Lack of Villains in parks (ok...thats really just my biggest grievance, lol)

Let's be honest the list could go on forever. And I'm super guilty of complaining about most of these at one time or another and I'm sure everyone on these boards are guilty of it. Thats what the boards are for...to express our views and opinions and seek others opinions about Disney. If you don't like it...don't read it. But if you want to stop reading all complaints about things in Disney we can't change...you should stop reading any/all Disney boards.

Relax, take deeper breaths, ease up on the caffeinated drinks, and cut back on the sugary treats. It will all be forgotten a few weeks after December 25th. :)

PLEASE! They arent coming back, and you're still going to WDW. Anyone who says they wont go because they took away pretty arches of dancing light is full of it! Yeah they were cool, but move on already!:hammer:

No I havent read all the posts about it, (the 3000 that are existent) and I honestly think people should have better things to do! Fictional Examples of threads that are probable in the next 30 minutes.

Holiday Decorations are up at DHS... (Still no LOW at Epcot)
New food items at Ohana...(Still no LOW at Epcot)
Booked our September trip!...(Still no LOW at Epcot)
Bathroom refurbishment photos..(Still no LOW at Epcot)
*I still wonder about those posts
WDW LOW Picture of the day...

WHEN WILL IT STOP!

Ok, and begin the flaming in 3, 2, 1.... GO!
When they come up with a replacement for them.

There does remain the possibility of their return.

The arches have been sealed in plastic and not scrapped, which in itself is significant. Disney do not store scrap metal, nevermind wrap it in plastic.

We've got some info to suggest that a new Epcot light show may very well debut in 2011. It's very possible that the old arches could be used for this, giving us a LoW 2.0

I hate complaining. I can't stand complaining.

Anyways, when Disney removes something purely for profit, and then does nothing to fill it's place because of profit, I think it's well within the right of any Disney fan to acknowledge it as a clusterfail.

And who said it was for profit? I can think of the disney big wigs sitting in a smoky room with their cigars, "Hey Larry, let's cut the LOW, man, we will make millions!" and then went flying off in their private jets to their private islands. Do you think the LOW being removed bumped their profit margins for the holiday season? Was it for the electricity, the maintenance? Not likely although ill admit, I do not have any real numbers. Also, because they move something from one location, do they have to put something back in it's exact location?

Ok, maybe I wont say "stop complaining" as yes, this is where you can if you wish to, but rather, "It is really annoying to see people still complaining" and I disagree with them :p

Okay, who's complaining now?!?! :ROFLOL:

Seriously though, I agree with you COMPLETELY! I'm tired of seeing all the complaints about LOW, AC, Horizons and of course Imagination. They're gone, get over it, move on!

I mean, Walt himself said that the park(s) were going to be forever changing and growing. It's part of the process, part of life, it happens. It's not always pleasant when things change, but move on, put on your big girl (or boy) panties and get over it.

Here's my take on LOW, and it's probably more optimistic than most, for now at least. Christmas is a big, BIG time of year for Disney. They make lots of money off it. Therefore, decorations and themeing are key to being able to please and entertain their guests. LOW may not return in their previous form, but I feel pretty confident in saying that SOMETHING will. Disney is the business to entertain and make money off their efforts to entertain. If they can create an entity that pleases their guests and allows them to capitalize on it, they will certainly find a way to do so.

The only thing worse than a thread about an attraction/event/club that has closed is one where someone tells us to stop complaining about it. :xmas:
