There does remain the possibility of their return.

The arches have been sealed in plastic and not scrapped, which in itself is significant. Disney do not store scrap metal, nevermind wrap it in plastic.

We've got some info to suggest that a new Epcot light show may very well debut in 2011. It's very possible that the old arches could be used for this, giving us a LoW 2.0

I agree with this and GrumpyFan's posts.

I'm also optimistic that we will eventually get a return of the wildly-popular Country Bear Xmas show at the Magic Kingdom as well, even if they end up making it some changes to it (replacing some of the existing songs with new ones, etc.)

They are probably making a newer, better version. Eventually, everything gets changed or scrapped. One day, our generation will be gone, too. Everything goes. Although I agree Disney has gotten $ eyes lately, they ARE a business and are in it for money, not charity. Sometimes the show changes but it will go on.

Yes, Disney is a business but we are their consumers. I feel that if we have a problem with their product we are well within our rights to make them aware through whatever means we have available. Obviously, complaining on a message board is not the most constructive option but hopefully those complaining about LOW here will also do so through official channels. :shrug:

There's sensitive and there's just plain rude, you fall into the latter.

I'm certainly not telling people they can't complain but like I said, it's the complaining about the same thing for month after month, etc... So many people freaked last year when LOW were removed and that's cool but to come back 12 months later and complain all over again gets tired.

Same thing about the Adventure's Club.........the same people complain and say the same statements for months and years.

Maybe because people thought they would be up this year. So they'll complain about not getting them again this year. I could see if it was the middle of the summer and someone randomly brought it up. No, it's close to christmas time and this time last year is the first year low wasn't up, so of course people are gonna mention it during this time.

True, but the only way that the corp. peeps will truly understand a complaint is lack of numbers. We can complain until we are blue in the face but, if they are continuing to see great numbers without the "cost" nothing will be done.

Many of us here complained about AE going to Stitch. Yet, Stitch continues to receive decent numbers. Therefore, it's not "worth" fixing to them. Yes, I do wish, to a degree, that they did listen to verbal complaints. But, then again, if they did, many changes that we've come to love wouldn't have happened.

How cool would it be to have the lights of winter be the entrance to the adventurer's club! Then have lunch with the food rocks cast, and take a nap with the dream weaver guy from imagination....all while riding 20,000 leagues under the sea! But then you realized you just ate some bad alfredos and weren't really having an alien encounter captained by a man named EO! anyway cant they just plug in the LOW? The only thing i wish they would make is a second monorail stop at the world showcase...thats very cruel to have your tired feet look down at the world showcase then have the monorail go all the way out to the parking lot!

To the OP...I don't recall there being a gun being put to anyone's head and forcing them to read every single thread on these boards. If it's not something that interests you or irritates you, simply move along to the next thread.

To those who are passionate about the LoW, keep up your fight to have them return. I only saw them once and they were beautiful. I hope to see them again.
