On May 2nd at 7:30AM, Magic Kingdom Cast Members will get the chance to preview Stitch's SuperSonic Celebration in Tomorrowland.

Also, the official opening date has been moved forward to May 6th, but it's possible they may have soft testing after the Cast preview.

I'm actually kinda excited to see something new when we bring my nieces later in May. I agree with others that the placement is a bit odd and isn't there enough Pixar in that area already but I'll give the thing a fair chance. :)

not to sound like an idiot but how can the MK give the CMs a preview of something thats out in the open like that? its not like a ride or anything. its like showing a new show at the castle how can you hide it?

I still find it odd that they didn't try to get this open sooner since they were marketing it with the "What will you celebrate?" stuff.
2009 will be almost half way over by May.

Maybe "What will you celebrate" will turn into a 2 year celebration like another marketing campaign that we all remember!:lookaroun

That's not nearly as ironic as a celebration that insinuates that it will only last for one year within the name of the celebration.

Since the wonderful YOMD has been brought up, I've always wondered, does that mean Disney gave away 2 million dreams, since it did go on for 2 years, or was it still just a million ad they stretched them out over the course of 2 years?

I can confirm the date change. May 3rd may have a soft opening that day.

I also heard the storyline to the show. It doesn't seem to be terrible....It's much better than SGE.

Just about anything is better than SGE...

BTW, the walls were still up around the stage area back on Tuesday. Was back at the MK today and saw that the walls are now all gone.

The YOMD started oct 1 2006, so technically 2.25 million dreams were awarded.
