Films are not developed to suit attractions.
Every time we watch a disney/pixar flick we always play "find the new attraction". Hours of fun for the whole family. Zootopia's themed neighborhoods to BigHero6's flights - we always imagine the animation team getting "notes" from upper management on how to plus their projects for future themepark integration. It's all synergy, right?

I didn't say it that was the process here. Just saying that if WIR is the IP and WIR2 has a time travel storyline, as I believe Martin hinted, then the new ride would make better sense being in Tomorrowland. Not saying that Tomorrowland needs a time travel ride so lets retrofit a storyline into WIR2.

Jim Hill says that the Dreamfinder and Figment could be moving to Tomorrowland if Inside Out takes over Imagination.
That... could...fit I guess. Put Dreamfinder/Figment where MILF currently resides and move MILF to the new DHS.

Let me go on record as stating that I'd prefer Dreamfinder/Figment stay in EPCOT as an updated version...and that I LOVE typing"MILF"!:D

My dream move for TL would be to close the Speedway and retool that land for a stateside version of the Tron coaster.

Considering the location of the land that would be available if the Speedway goes down, they can even retool the Video Arcade that SM uses whenever it gets the major refurb the ride deserves (50th Anniversary please) into Flynn's from the films, and have it serve as both the former building's function as well as a themed entrance for Tron.

FYI, Jim Hill clarified on twitter.

Wreck it Ralph would be a Sugar Rush themed simulator replacing Stitch's Great Escape.

The other things he discussed was an Inside Out take over of the Imagination Pavilion with Dreamfinder and Figment coming to Tomorrowland as walk around characters (not an attraction). The Dreamfinder and Figment characters would be based on the comic book.

That's even worse!!!

I hope with all hope that he's wrong. I really don't know why Disney can't just put Inside Out in the Magic Eye Theater and let Dreamfinder and Figment have the spotlight in the actual ride. It's been proven over and over that people care about these characters so they would have no problem pushing merch. So shortsighted.

I love LILO and Stitch, but I was so confused on this ride. I couldn't tell what was going on. The seats were painful. I wish they could connect both this and Laugh Floor to make a big E Ticket.

Those seats are the same seats that have been in there since the ride was Mission to Mars.

I think there is a subset of fans that love Dreamfinder and Figment, but if I asked around in my office (in central Fla.) who they are, most would still have no idea who I was talking about.

The Disney Co. only seems to only be going with sure things now.

The days of dreaming big are probably behind them :(

Any new attractions with a significant investment will most certainly be tied to an IP from here on out.

And I would imagine they're even less recognizable for people under the age of 30.

Figment, maybe. Dreamfinder, probably not at all.

These characters are the Orange Bird of attractions - fans like them, but that's all. They're not even as popular as the Muppets, and that's saying something.
