It has a nice cult following in the US. Not as popular as in UK though. Is Dr Who as popular in the US as it is here in the U.K.?

Just about every teenager/young adult I know loves the show... And that's coming from an 18 year old who has only seen a couple of episodes. But.. It'd fit very well in Tomorrowland! Is Dr Who as popular in the US as it is here in the U.K.?
Does Disney own Dr. Who? If not, I suspect the chances of this happening are completely nil.Just about every teenager/young adult I know loves the show... And that's coming from an 18 year old who has only seen a couple of episodes. But.. It'd fit very well in Tomorrowland!

I didn't think so...lol and Dr Who is not a great match for the Tomorrowland format. They do not.
Hardly.Just about every teenager/young adult I know loves the show... And that's coming from an 18 year old who has only seen a couple of episodes. But.. It'd fit very well in Tomorrowland!
Hardly.
It was a dated franchise that used to be watched for poor sets and laughable make up.
Davis and Eccleston (both work aquantancies of mine) rebooted it into something with a cult following but it's never become mainstream.
There's a huge number of IPs seen as more fitting and more acquirable.
I am so glad that you are not in charge of what goes into a Disney park. None of that sounds appealing to me at all. Sorry.Actually a Sugar Rush overlay for the Speedway, and re-theme Cosmic Ray's into the Gaming Hub...With all the different gaming characters used in the decor...Maybe a new animatronic show, add very conspicuous power stations to all the dining tables... Make it really relate to the gaming world from the film...and the Esplanade area there would be a thematic bridge between Fantasyland and Tomorroweland... It could work beautifully.

Pretty sure no one expected Avatar to ever become part of the parks plans either, but hey. Lookie what we're getting! And I never said it was likely to happen. I'm pretty sure I said the word "very" four times before the terms "thin chance."
Sometimes you people need to get out of your "that'll never happen" bubble and just have a fun little "what if?" conversation. It ain't that hard and it's pretty fun.

That's what the imagineering forum is there for.
Here in news, you are going to be taken seriously at your suggestion and it will be analyzed based on its reality quotient.
As to Avatar, I personally think it's a huge mistake - but when Dr Who at least has the highest grossing film of all time worldwide, send it back around and we can talk.
Why? You aren't equating the movie with the land again, are you? Because if so. Stop. The land will stand on it's own just fine without any movie at all. Just like Splash Mountain. As to Avatar, I personally think it's a huge mistake

What he said.
That was given they were bringing Wreck It Ralph into Tomorrowland...not necessarily what I think is the best idea, but thanks for criticizing!I am so glad that you are not in charge of what goes into a Disney park. None of that sounds appealing to me at all. Sorry.
Sorry, didn't have enough coffee before I saw this. I apologize, and will try to be more understanding in the future. That was given they were bringing Wreck It Ralph into Tomorrowland...not necessarily what I think is the best idea, but thanks for criticizing!
I've not said it before, but this is one of your most petty, ignorant and plain daft posts yet.Is WIR going to be an attraction or a Meet-n-Grope which TDO considers an attraction, Meanwhile the Stitch space gets construction walls for the next decade or so...

The posts on this thus far all disprove what you just said. The cheap shots are becoming tiresome.
Save them for when they count. Please.
