What a thread drift  ...See I'm a HUGE Figment fan, so I hated the second one. the third one brought back Figgy and "One Little Spark" so I enjoy it much more.

..and I enjoyed that drift right along with you, SirGoofy! ...

Thanks for the update, Kevin!

As far as the Tiki room goes at least it isn't updated with a pixar character right? I mean everybody is complaing about Disney's reliance on Pixar, and Iago is one of their animation's. (Sorry for the continued thread drift)

Ummm, Iago is a Disney creation...Sorry, I had to point that out.

And Kevin, I have to agree, I like the new Tikis better.

THANK YOU! NO MORE CHILDRENS VOICES! WOO-HOO!
And on another note, hopefully with the release of Pixar from Disneys hands we can get back to classic animation. Sorry, but Computer Animation is not the future.

:) I havent been to WDW since SGE opened and from the reviews ive read it wasnt to wonderful. but im thinking i may not dislike it lol.

1 - i never went on AE so I have nothing to compare it to or be mad that it replaced it (though i know the feeling, horizons was my favorite attraction and now its M:S which i cant ride due to bad chlaustrophobia)

2 - i havent been on the oridinal SGE so i dont know how bad or good it really was

3 - if it is said it is a little better now then thats always a good thing :)

but when i do go on it i wont be thinking of what everyone on here says, i dont want it to influence my opinion. we will see :)

I enjoy the NEW Tiki birds. Let's be honest, the original show was a TOTAL snoozefest, except for the classic theme song.

NO MORE THREAD DRIFT in posts that I start. I will NOT stand for it :fork: :fork: :fork:

I went to the Tiki Room in Disneyland a few weeks ago, and I was asleep after just a few minutes. I did enjoy the New Managment version at the MK better, but Iago and Zazu are so big that they freak me out.

Thanks for the update Kevin! I am glad that they made the attraction better. I am a big Stitch fan and hated the character to be part of an attraction that was so lackluster, in the opinion of many. I really liked AE, so I hope that when I see it for the first time next month, I won't be dissapointed! :sohappy:

8 - the new ending, while not great is muuuuuuuuuch superior to the Astro Orbitor. I was thankful that Cinderella just kicked him out the door. I was expecting her to beat him up or something, but he just laughs after he is kicked out. Animation on the photo of the castle is not 100% believable, but if your a tourist and not looking for it, it blends well enough.
ummmmmm, what are you refering too. is there animation with the castle in the new SGE..... sorry, i havent riden yet.

I actually enjoyed. It could still use some fine tuning here and there, but no longer a complete turd.

You see a daytime picture of Cinderella's castle, then an animated Stitch on one of the spires. Then it cuts to a animated door that Stitch knocks on and goes it, you heard Cinderella's voice and Stitch gets kicked out.

Whoa sorry for the excitement I guess my english writing skills are showing again. (I know I should have stayed awake in english for all four years of high school). I know Iago is a Disney animation drawing, that was my whole point. I just didn't word it correctly. Iago is one of their's=Disney Studios Animations.

I grammatically edited my previous post to avoid any future confusion. Sorry again I need to stop posting so late at night.

I'm excited to see it again. I didn't catch it with the kids voices (I know I wouldn't have liked that...) but this new version at least sounds more visually interesting.

I'm full willing to give it a try. It wouldn't take much to make the attraction enjoyable, but the version that debuted last fall just felt like a bad beta test.
