Stitch's future?

I cant think they can fit much into that building, unless the queue is much bigger than I think. I'm guessing they wanted a cheap overlay to use what was there just new theming and new characters (still circular sit down area). Does anyone have a map that shows how big the space is and how the ride fits in it (queue round show area)? All I can find is Disney maps
The interior would have been mostly gutted.

It was discussed in the dedicated thread in news and rumours.

Never been a Stitch or Wreck it Ralph fan so I wouldnt be sad it one faded away and the other never appeared. I would like something added to Tomorrowland to add to the area but WIR just doesnt have the appeal.

I love Stitch, he is my favorite Disney character by far but the ride needs to go. I want them to find a way to keep Stitch in the park but it's clear that the ride is past due for a refurb and replacement

i've been hoping and hoping for these three changes in the parks for years:
1. get rid of Ellen in EPCOT
2. get rid of stitch in MK
3. update the MuppetVision 3D film (especially after Disney acquired Jim Henson studios)

they've only come in clutch with 1 out of 3, even after 2 Muppet movies and creating the Muppet Courtyard area :banghead:

even if they made the Stitch ride into a Stitch meet and greet space I'd be happy...JUST DO SOMETHING

Death to Stitch! I still want Wall-E dang it! Although I'd prefer a reworked Peoplemover... the Stitch space could work. Armchair mind you, but the idea just popped into my head and rather then let it die I figured I'd type it out while still fresh in my noggin.

Not sure how much space is actually in the old AE building but I wonder if it would be possible to reconfigure the entry/exit for the show to have park guests enter from the current exit path. With this becoming the new queue we could then enter the theater which could serve as a holding area and preshow... We then exit the theater to board the new Wall-E dark ride in the space that once occupied the original queue and secondary theater. (just how big is the AE building anyway?)

Of course the idea could work for any number of IPs or (cough cough original content) but I think Wall-E would work well especially for a what-would-be, shoestring-budgeted darkride using mostly screenz and minimal movement AAs (ideal for "robots")

"Too much garbage in your face? There's plenty of space out in space! BnL StarLiners leaving each day!" How much space does Stitch have?
